Tilton, Kelly + Bell, L.L.C. (TKB) is a comprehensive architecture and interior design firm with a deep commitment to providing the best in design services. An open-minded design approach permeates our project solutions, and is the foundation upon which we build our understanding of each commission.

This approach means that our projects do not have a specific "look", but rather are direct interpretations of the project requirements within the framework of excellent design and real world budget and schedule constraints.

TKB was formed in the year 2000, combining the firms of Tilton + Lewis Associates, Inc., and Martha Bell & Associates and a firm history dating to 1972. The consolidation broadened in-house capabilities to provide a comprehensive knowledge base in corporate offices, institutional, governmental and restoration projects. Principals Martha Bell, AIA, and Michael J. Kelly, AIA, are deeply committed to providing "best in class" service to our clients, and maintain a hands-on collaborative approach.

The range of unique design solutions within these areas has generated ongoing commissions for TKB, primarily through referrals by past and present clients who feel that their design objectives were successfully met or exceeded. The design capability of the firm has been widely recognized through numerous design awards at the national, state and local levels from the American Institute of Architects among others. Many articles have been published regarding our work and specific expertise.

TKB has professional staff accredited with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Our firm’s goal is to continuously provide sustainable design in line with LEED standards.

Our portfolio of millions of square feet of completed work illustrates our client responsiveness, with distinct design solutions tailored specifically to each organization. Completed projects range from a one million square foot governmental project to a single executive office, covering a wide variety of design services. Our diverse clientele includes major developers, real estate brokers, contractors, governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, corporations, and individuals in both ownership and tenant roles.
