Building for the City of Chicago
This project is an award winning conversion of a 160,000 s.f. neighborhood
department store from the early 1900’s into departmental offices for
the City of Chicago. The building required complete renovation, exterior and
interior, new building systems, accessibility, and interior build-out. The
work was contracted by the Public Building Commission and coordinated with
all the affected City departments. TKB was the interior architect on the project
team.
